Management consultancy

Traprain’s commercial and legal know-how are accessed by clients to assist in establishing and developing enterprises including consultancy companies; import/export businesses; oil & gas services companies and similar business models.  Traprain follows its normal ethos of only using experienced personnel who have themselves managed substantial businesses.  The available consultants cover every perspective to fit each client’s requirement up to Chairman and Chief Executive levels, and all have experience in substantial companies with international reach.  Traprain can also provide experienced non-executive directors to ensure clients have constant access to high-quality strategic advice and direction.

Traprain assists clients in setting up new businesses in an international context, with recent projects including both assisting a Norwegian company in acquiring a majority stake in a Scottish consultancy, advising a Scottish company on forming a joint venture business in Texas and setting up operations in Kazakhstan.

As with all other areas of consultancy, Traprain offers practical advice coupled with sound technical expertise in the relevant field.

Clients value the fact that Traprain’s advice is based on seeking management solutions with a focus on practical responses to problems, making a mature assessment of risk and how it can be eliminated, reduced or managed.

Traprain have also provided support for due diligence exercises on acquisitions in the United Kingdom and overseas, providing practical advice on management processes, as well as more traditional reviews of contracts. We provide services tailored to the needs of each client, whatever the organisation’s size, and our client base ranges from sole traders and consultants to multinational companies and government organisations.
